About

Hey, I’m Eliot.

Eliot, founder of Loxoda

Solo founder, bootstrapped — that’s the whole company so far.

I’m passionate about financial independence and retiring early so life can be enjoyed to the fullest, and Loxoda came out of that. Coast FIRE especially — the idea that you can get the engine running and then live, instead of grinding until you’re exhausted.

What I kept looking for, and what a lot of people ask for, is a plan that actually starts with the tickers you hold, and then forecasts each one from the maths of its own history rather than a return you typed in or a blended account guess. The paid tools at the top of this category don’t really do that, and that gap is why I started.

I wanted to create something beautiful. Fun. Engaging. Something that stands out against all the beige planners, and feels aspirational even if a few people think that’s over the top. Underneath, though, it had to be as serious and as robust as anyone else you’d pay for. Accurate. Dependable. Trustworthy. Not a toy with a space skin.

That’s the beginning. There’s a longer journey from here — more stations on the line — and I’m still building.

The Journey.

Advanced charts and views so you can actually slice the plan — by holding, by wrapper, by year — and watch it run forward. Composition, the coast crossover, what you put in versus what the market earned, income, the years that come up short. A table behind every view, and you can play the years. The point is to see the path, not just a single date.

Canada & Australia.

We plan to fully model Canadian tax to a provincial level, and to model Australia too.

Moments

Waypoints.

Configurable points in life that are meaningful to you, and that shape the plan going forward: debt-free, moving house, “when the pot hits this.” Or recurring events, like buying a new car every ten years. Emergency funds and goals sit here as well, so you can shape the future the way you want.
